Reporting to the Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston, this role is responsible for processing, delivering, and collecting laundry for the Quality Inn, Comfort Inn & Suites Kingston Central, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston Central. The Laundry Attendant ensures all linens are cleaned, dried, folded, delivered, collected and organized to brand standards, supporting the Housekeeping teams across all properties.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome incoming laundry shipments from HLS, confirm everything has arrived, and flag any discrepancies.
• Keep dryers running safely and efficiently by cleaning lint traps and monitoring equipment.
• Count, record, and prepare fresh linens for delivery to each property.
• Keep laundry moving smoothly between properties using the designated HLS ramp and delivery areas.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold a variety of linens, including towels, bathmats, pillowcases, face cloths, bed pads, sheets, blankets, duvets, and duvet covers.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and ready for action throughout your shift.
• Clean and care for laundry equipment at the end of each shift.
• Be on the lookout for guest belongings and promptly deliver any found items to Lost and Found.
• Follow all health, safety, and proper linen-handling procedures.
• Jump in and assist with other duties as needed to help the team succeed.

Who We're Looking For:

• A strong organizer who can keep linens counted, sorted, and moving to the right properties.
• A detail-oriented person who notices missing items, shipment discrepancies, or equipment concerns.
• Someone who can work independently, manage their time, and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• A team player who understands how their work supports Housekeeping teams and creates a comfortable experience for guests.
• A safety-minded individual who follows proper procedures and keeps their workspace clean and organized.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, warehouse, or hospitality experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person.
• The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry carts and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Important Info/Working Conditions:

• This is a physically demanding position that requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
• Regularly push and pull heavy, fully loaded laundry bins and carts within and between hotel properties.
• Transport laundry bins across parking lots, delivery areas, ramps, door thresholds, and other indoor and outdoor surfaces.
• Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind, while moving laundry between properties.
• Safely navigate vehicle traffic, uneven surfaces, curbs, ramps, and potentially slippery conditions in parking and delivery areas.
