Residential Appliance Repair Technician - Stein Appliance Service

Stein Appliance Service is hiring a Residential Appliance Repair Technician to service Kingston and surrounding areas.

**Previous appliance repair experience is preferred but not required.** We are willing to train motivated, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

 Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, and ovens.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Use technical resources, service manuals, and Techline support to assist with troubleshooting.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently and occasionally assist with two-person service calls.

 Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Previous appliance repair experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
• Experience in automotive repair, electrical work, HVAC, or other mechanical trades is an asset.
• Valid Ontario G driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must provide own tools.

 What We Offer:

• **$22–$28 per hour**, depending on experience.
• Full-time, permanent employment.
• Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., approximately 40–44 hours per week.
• No scheduled weekend or holiday work.
