Description of duties: 

  • Delivers, integrates, enhances, maintains, and supports the operation of IT infrastructure and services. This includes activities, such as:
    • installing, integrating, configuring, monitoring and testing components in the computing environment; 
    • logging, monitoring, investigating and resolving problems; 
    • updating and maintaining hardware and software inventory and monitoring system component performance and usage; 
    • ensures that the client’s needs are prioritized and met in a timely and professional fashion 
    • ensures that work performed in support of clients is documented accurately and in a timely manner 
    • documents work activities and problem resolution/escalation through the use of Canada Revenue Agency’s automated service management tools 
    • ensuring that issues are escalated to the appropriate level and documented, detailing the steps that have been taken
