Our dealership is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Apprentice Marine Service Technician to join our service department.
Job Description:
As an Apprentice Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks under the supervision of experienced technicians. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of boats, providing you with a dynamic work environment and the chance to develop a wide range of technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing boat engines and systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, battery checks, and hull inspections.
- Follow guidance from senior technicians to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to handle tools and machinery and work in various conditions.
