Job Overview

The Dock Staff at Brown’s Marina are the frontline ambassadors of our marina operations. They ensure the smooth operation of our docks, assist with the mooring of boats, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Duties will also include cleaning and prepping new and used boats, stocking shelves, and cashing out customers in our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the boating lifestyle, a commitment to safety, and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet customers and assist with docking and undocking their vessels.
  • Assist with fueling operations and pump-out services, adhering to environmental and safety protocols.
  • Handle retail transactions in our busy LCBO/Beer/Grocery store
  • Receive and shelve stock as it arrives from suppliers
  • Provide information and guidance to customers regarding local attractions, services, and marina policies.
  • Help with marina events and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Comfort working on and around water.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Access to reliable transportation (or live nearby)
