The Martin Group is a diversified real estate holdings company with investments in residential, commercial, storage and gaming.

We are hiring a Summer position working as part of a team implementing a new management system. This role assists the Vice President of Finance with digitizing and cataloguing business, financial, and legal records.

In addition to learning to use current document management technologies, you will:

  • Work with current scanning technology to digitize records.
  • Use computers for cloud based catalogue systems and MS Office 365.
  • Ensure all documents are digitized, tagged, sorted and organized correctly.
  • Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
  • Opportunity to see and become familiar with all type of legal and financial documents.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable and familiar with MS Windows operating system.
  • Proficient with using MS Word, Excel and Sharepoint.
  • Able to organize your own work and communicate clearly.
  • Able to ask for help but also come with researched solutions.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

The position starts May 1 (or sooner), with a flexible end date of (or around) August 31.
