We have multiple facilities in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to serve Atlantic Canada, the North Eastern US, and the World.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for Permanent Full-time Machinist at our Machine Shop in Saint John, NB (45 Gifford Road, Saint John, NB E2L 5C9).

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze engineering diagrams, blueprints, and samples to strategize machining procedures and determine the most efficient sequence of operations.
• Calculate measurements and tolerances, and arrange workpieces accordingly.
• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts to shape parts in accordance with safety, quality, and operations standards.
• Assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using manual and powered tools.
• Ensure product precision by meticulously verifying dimensions against specifications, employing high-precision measuring instruments.
• Potentially configure and program machinery for use by other machining operators.
• Must be able to work all shifts as required.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Team player who requires minimum supervision

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Trade Certification or Associate's Degree in Machining.
• Journeyman or Red Seal Machinist preferred.
• 2-5 plus years’ experience is considered an asset.
• Capable of operating all machines relevant to this trade.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established protocols.
• CNC experience is considered a strong asset.
