Cabinet and Door Installer - Vanguard Kitchens

Vanguard Kitchens is seeking skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet and Door Installers to join our team. As a Cabinet and Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise installation of cabinets and doors in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Cabinet Installation: Precisely measure, cut, and install cabinets according to project specifications and design plans.
• Door Installation: Install a variety of doors, including interior and exterior doors, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality.
• Hardware Installation: Attach and secure hardware such as handles, knobs, hinges, and locks to cabinets and doors.
• Trim Work: Perform finishing touches, including trim work and molding, to enhance the overall appearance of installed cabinets and doors.
• Read and Interpret Blueprints: Interpret design plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and alignment of cabinets and doors.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that installations meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including designers, cabinet makers, and site managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and others.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions related to the installation process.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in cabinet and/or door installation.
• Carpentry Skills: Proficient in carpentry techniques, including measuring, cutting, and finishing.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate installations.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during installations.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy cabinets and doors.
