The Inside Sales Representative provides technical support to our sales team in servicing our customers to provide quality, on time delivery of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment used in the Industrial, Process, HVAC and Refrigeration industry. This role involves a blend of customer service, technical support & pricing.

  • Interacting with the outside and inside sales team on a regular basis
  • Understanding the needs and expectations of the customers and provides technical support
  • Working with the customers on the selection of coils, fluid coolers and condensers as per their requirements
  • Assisting the customer and the outside sales team with issues regarding warranty, delivery, quality etc.
  • Creating, reading and comprehending 3D & 2D models and drawings
  • Learning the manufacturing processes at Direct Coil, and how they tie to design, performance & pricing.
  • Performing other duties that may be reasonably requested

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates ability to learn customized software; for example, Product Selection Interfaces
  • Critical thinking and detail oriented for technical processes and pricing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for managing assigned tasks and projects
  • Ability to work under tight time restrictions and meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skill
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting is an asset
  • Exposure with Heat Transfer, HVAC and refrigeration is an asset
