Nursery and Greenhouse Labourers - Riley's Garden Centre Kingston

We are a small locally owned and operated Greenhouse & Garden Centre that focuses on customer service, providing plants and knowledge to the local community.

Looking for applicants who are able to work as part of a small team; in a fast paced, seasonal business. Positions available are for Nursery/Greenhouse labourer duties will be to cultivate, and maintain flowers, shrubs, herbs and vegetable plants both inside our greenhouses as well as outside in the outdoor nursery. 

Responsibilities:

• Watering/cleaning/restocking plants
• Unloading plant deliveries
• Pricing inventory
• Assisting customers
• Loading customer vehicles

Candidate Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Have reliable Transportation to/from work
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in hot temperatures (Greenhouse temperatures can easily reach 30⁰ C)
• Must be available to work weekends as well as week days
• Must be comfortable in a face paced environment

Special Consideration will be given to all applicants who have past experience working in a related field or those with more knowledge of gardening/plants.
