Rockport Boat Line is currently looking for a part time sales associate to work at our ice cream/ coffee shop. The shop is located inside our gift shop/general store and is generally open between 10 am and 5 pm. You will be working the counter where or ice cream freezer units and non-alcoholic beverage stations are located. The candidate must be customer service focused and enjoy meeting various people from around the world. All students welcome to apply.

Located in Rockport ON, Rockport is located 20 Mins West of Brockville on the 1000 Islands Parkway.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet shop customers
  • Familiarize self with menu and prices
  • Prepares beverages for guests and ensures they are consistent with standards
  • Scoop ice cream and toppings to fill customer orders
  • Assist on the customers during transactions while using POS
  • Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs as well as coffee inventory
  • Restock bowls, cones, and toppings behind the counter
  • Restock napkins and spoons for customers
  • Wipe down surfaces in between customers
  • Completing any required forms or paperwork as it applies to the position
  • Assist with other tasks as needed


Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Prior cash handling and cash transactions experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Be able to lift 10 - 15lbs
  • Consistent transportation
