ROCKPORT BOAT LINES' General Store is currently accepting resumes for the position of sales associate for our 2024 Season.

Rockport, Ontario is a quaint village located in heart of the 1000 Islands, an internationally known tourism destination, offering seasonal sightseeing boat tours and waterside accommodations on the St. Lawrence River. The 1000 Islands region is also home to the famous Boldt Castle on Heart Island.

Our location provides the most unique and scenic backdrop highly sought by both tourists and residents. Boasting over 1,800 islands with fresh clear water ideal for scenic boating, fishing and diving and attracting over 200,000 visitors a season. Rockport is a small village, within close proximity to Kingston, Gananoque and Brockville.

Canadian owned and operated for over 60 years, we have set a high standard for customer service with an entrepreneurial approach to touring and serving guests from all over the globe.

The successful candidate must be energetic with an excellent track record in customer service! This Position is Ideal for Students to enter the work force.

Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Associate include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties Include:

  • Greets and engages customers in the store.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by responding to customer questions.
  • Performs all required cash register transactions, efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintains store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and food items including Scooping Ice Cream and Making Coffee
  • Other Duties as assigned
