Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant and System Operators - MacLellan Water Treatment & Pumps

Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant and System Operator will do water sampling and water treatment system maintenance at Regulation 170 and 319 sites.

TOOLS / TECHNOLOGIES:

• Needs hands-on experience with basic maintenance of UV units, chlorine systems
• Needs at least OIT limited system (surface) water operator’s license, Class 1 an asset
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong work ethic
• Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage own schedule to accomplish tasks.
• High degree of attention to detail
• The position is usually normal working hours but may require off-hour call outs to respond to adverse situations
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
• Must have/be able to obtain CPIC with VSS
