The Ottawa Humane Society has been a leader in animal welfare since 1888. We’re currently looking for compassionate and results oriented Veterinary Technician – Animal Care to join our team supporting domestic animals. The Veterinary Technician – Animal Care is responsible for the health and well-being of Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) and other animals in the shelter, including providing medical assessments and interventions summary.

What you bring to the table:

  • Veterinary Technician diploma from a recognized college
  • Registration with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians preferred
  • Professional working proficiency in spoken English and limited working proficiency in written English is required

Hourly Range:

  • $24.67 - $30.04 per hour.

Schedule:

  • Full time positions: 72 hours biweekly
