Event Planning and Management
- Event Support for the Fundraising Coordinator: fundraising events and campaigns (e.g., Walk for Alzheimer’s, Coffee Break / Social with A Purpose) in collaboration with volunteer committees.
- Maintain records and statistics for each fundraising event and campaign.
- Explore opportunities, recruit hosts and assist as appropriate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of third-party fundraising events and projects.
- Support in recruiting, training and managing volunteers.
- Plan and coordinate the development of materials related to fundraising and volunteering campaigns. (e.g. promotional materials, brochures, signage, invitations, programs, media releases, newsletter articles, website pages, social media)
- Community Relations, Maintain and expand the Chapter’s social media presence, represent the organization at community activities to enhance the organization's community profile.
