  • Facilitate dynamic after-school sessions and summer camp sessions for ages 5-13 using materials provided.
  • Attend outreach events in the community to sell SPWC merchandise for fundraising and raise awareness of our work and/or display educational materials to teach the community about human impacts on wildlife.
  • Work with the Education & Outreach Coordinator to develop new programming that is engaging, age-appropriate, and aligns with our goal of teaching empathy and compassion for wildlife.
  • Cultivate professional and positive relationships with teachers, community members, and community partners.
  • Participate in professional development to continue learning about humane education, nature-based learning, child development, and more.
  • Keep program materials clean, organized, and properly stored.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks including following up with teachers as needed, recording participant numbers, and supporting marketing of the programs.
  • Model empathy and compassion for wildlife.
