Position Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for processing, embedding, cutting, staining H&E's, special stains, frozen section on surgical and autopsy material. Candidate may be asked to perform a practical test to assess their technical abilities.

Schedule Work Hours

  • Monday to Friday; days
  • This position may be required to work at any HHS site as needed.


Qualifications

  • Current Registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
  • Current (minimum 3 years) experience in all aspects of Histology
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A practical exam may be a part of the interview process

As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
