Kitchen Cabinet Shop Fabricator/Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Ability to execute specialized shop-work and on-site service work for a busy kitchen dealer.
- A complete understanding, knowledge and high-level skillset required by clients and designers to complete work to a high standard.
- Interact in a positive and professional manner with our whole team and clients to resolve plan, product issues, and on-site challenges.
- Fabrication of custom kitchen cabinets, retrofitting, repairing and touch-ups of cabinets.
- Installation of custom fittings for kitchen cabinet interiors (spice pullouts, lemans shelving, Euro-Cargo, Aventos, etc)
- Maintain shop and jobsite cleanliness with safety in mind.
- Punctual – never late
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar shop and/or kitchen cabinet installation.
- Must be bondable.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Health and Safety Certificate and WHMIS
- Working knowledge and understanding of kitchen floor plans and elevations.
- Knowledge and ability with cabinet finishing an asset.
- You must be reliable, have pride in your work and attitude to detail is crucial.
- Must be physically fit to lift heavy items.
