Kitchen Cabinet Shop Fabricator/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Ability to execute specialized shop-work and on-site service work for a busy kitchen dealer.
• A complete understanding, knowledge and high-level skillset required by clients and designers to complete work to a high standard.
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with our whole team and clients to resolve plan, product issues, and on-site challenges.
• Fabrication of custom kitchen cabinets, retrofitting, repairing and touch-ups of cabinets.
• Installation of custom fittings for kitchen cabinet interiors (spice pullouts, lemans shelving, Euro-Cargo, Aventos, etc)
• Maintain shop and jobsite cleanliness with safety in mind.
• Punctual – never late

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in similar shop and/or kitchen cabinet installation.
• Must be bondable.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Health and Safety Certificate and WHMIS
• Working knowledge and understanding of kitchen floor plans and elevations.
• Knowledge and ability with cabinet finishing an asset.
• You must be reliable, have pride in your work and attitude to detail is crucial.
• Must be physically fit to lift heavy items.
