At KPM, analytical chemistry is an internal service providing high quality chemical analysis on samples generated by the teams performing the experimental research and development. We are operating two ICP-OES (Agilent 5110 DVD), one ICP-MS (Thermo-Fisher iCAP TQ with iMR), two XRF (one energy dispersive S2-PUMA and one Total Reflection XS4 T-STAR 400 TXRF), one carbon/sulphur analyzer (Eltra), an Arc-OES metal analyzer (Spectro) and a variety of probes and wet chemistry methods, we perform fire assays, use ion selective electrodes (ISE), and develop/adapt methods as needed.
Kingston Process Metallurgy Inc. (KPM) provides contract Research & Development (R&D) services to clients around the world, both at bench-scale laboratory and at piloting and demonstration scale. We specialize in the development of new processes and optimization of chemical and metallurgical operations. KPM work is based on understanding the chemistry of how things are made. We are aiming at reducing the global environmental impact for producing materials and goods that we all need. We are helping the Chem-Tech industry to revolutionize the way things are done, to make this planet a better world to live. Visit www.kpm.ca and www.kpm-accelerate.com.
