About Root Nurture Grow Counselling

Root Nurture Grow Counselling (RNG Counselling) is a group mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, ethical, and client-centred care. We are a growing team that values professionalism, collaboration, and respect for confidentiality and client wellbeing.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, professional, and comfortable working in a confidential clinical environment. The office administrator supports the day-to-day administrative and client coordination needs of the practice and works closely with the Clinical Director.

You will report directly to Chrissi Stronach, Clinical Director, or another designate as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate client care and administrative processes

• Support scheduling and communication within the practice

• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and business information

• Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and privacy standards

• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team

• Perform other administrative duties as required to support clinic operations

Hours of Work

• Availability between 8:00am – 8:00pm Monday to Friday

• 9:00am – 4:00pm Saturdays and Sundays

• Start with a flexible schedule at 5 hours per week working up to possibly 15 hours per week), to be mutually agreed upon

• Hours and schedule may change based on business needs

Compensation

• $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Vacation & Holidays

• Vacation must be requested at least four (4) weeks in advance

• The clinic is closed on statutory holidays, including:

    • New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day

Probation

• This position includes a three (3) month probationary period

Requirements

• Ability to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check upon hiring and when requested

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

• Alignment with RNG Counselling’s values and ethical standards
